CowManager Sensor wins 2 Innovation Awards at the World Dairy Expo in Madison USA

Harmelen, the Netherlands (30 September 2015) - Agis Automatisering / CowManager won two prizes at the World Dairy Expo in Madison (USA): the Dairy Herd Management Innovation Award and the People's Choice Award. Both prizes were awarded on Tuesday evening, September 29. International recognition for the Dutch CowManager SensOor.

The Awards

The Innovation Award is an innovation prize that is awarded to new innovative products that have been on the market since last year's World Dairy Expo. The choice of prize winners is determined by a professional jury consisting of producers, academics and industry representatives. Among the prize winners of the Innovation Awards, a People's Choice Award will also be awarded; The audience prize. Online voting allowed the public to vote for their favorite product. This prize was also won by CowManager. The CowManager SensOor received the most votes from most countries.

The CowManager SensOor

The CowManager SensOor is an innovative product developed by Agis Automatisering. The CowManager SensOor system consists of a sensor on the ear and contains 3 software modules: Fertility (draft), Health (diseases) and Nutrition (eating and ruminating). The use of the SensOor saves labor and ensures a sustainable herd.

 

Select Sires / World Wide Sires

Since the World Dairy Expo 2014, Agis Automatisering / CowManager has had a dealer agreement with the American KI organization Select Sires and they sell CowManager SensOren in the United States and Canada. World Wide Sires, subsidiary of Select Sires sells in 60 other countries (including in the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia and China).
